Welcome to the refreshed and rebuilt Benefice Website. With the re-opening of St Peter’s Church imminent, it was felt time for a re-think about how we provided information about the benefice.

This website has been developed to give multiple people on our clergy and church leadership teams the ability to upload and edit content.

Inevitably, in the initial stages the focus will be on re-opening and finishing the furnishing of St Peter’s Church to become a fully functioning place of worship again, but as we move forward the focus will broaden to properly include our other two churches.

Already current photo galleries have been provided, not just for St Peter’s, but also for St Nicholas. St Mary Magdalene will follow soon.

The St Peter’s gallery will be updated, particularly with interior shots, once we have the church fully handed over by the contractors.

The “History” section is somewhat of a work in progress, with ongoing focus on re-building the historic images galleries and rationalising the remaining content. It remains a wonderful resource to remind us of St Peter’s Church before the 2014 fire.

Our information on events and activities will be provided here as we have it.

More comprehensive information covering such areas as disabled access, kitchen facilities and options for meetings and events will be added shortly – particularly for St Peter’s.

We can’t wait to welcome you all to the “new” St Peter’s on 26th August.
